I decided to participate in a Half Marathon Charity Challenge on March 24, 2019 to raise support and awareness for Strength United, whose mission is dedicated to ending abuse, empowering families, and developing leaders.
What motivated me to do this? I have decided to do this for reasons that are deeply personal to me: (1) I want to unite against abuse and pay tribute to family, friends, and other survivors who have been affected by it (2) to celebrate a milestone birthday, I want to dedicate my birthday to make a difference by supporting a good cause, and (3) Strength United's mission and vision means a lot to me because they align with my passion and core values for education, hope, healing, growth and thrive in individuals, families, and communities.
Please consider making a donation to partner and celebrate with me in my fundraising campaign for Strength United and make a difference in the lives of survivors. Donations on Monday, February 25 will be matched. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of any amount.
